Theater Offers Free U2 Movie For Somerville - with a video
SOMERVILLE (WBZ) ―

U2 played a special show at Somerville Theater in front of about 800 fans. Fans had to win tickets from local radio stations.

Theater wants to thank residents for "putting up" with all the traffic and congestion caused by U2 coming to town.

According to LiveJournal.com, the theater will be showing "U2: Rattle and Hum" on the big screen for free on March 26. But you have to be a resident of Somerville to get in without paying.

The theater says the free showing is a "thank you" locals who had to deal with the craziness in Somerville's Davis Square once it was learned U2 was playing there.

To get into the showing for free, Somerville residents have to bring an ID or letter with their address on it.

If you don't live in Somerville, you can buy a ticket for $8.
