Still, the crowd doesn't seem overly responsive to the song. In a Melody Maker interview, Adam Clayton is asked about touring: "There's an awful lot of people all around the world that want to see us, and why should we just end up playing for London and New York who see everyone who comes through? I like to be able to tour in other places. It's not always fun, it's not always together, but you have to accept that as part of the problems of going to these places." "Joshua tree has fallen over in California desert" - october 23, 2000 - U2 fans confirm a rumor thathad started earlier in the month -- the Joshua tree depicted on The Joshua Tree album has fallen over. The tree had become a landmark of sorts for U2 fans over the years, many of whom spent days searching through the California desert for the tree's location.Those who discovered it managed to keep the location secret in an attempt to make sure the casual fan, or U2 basher, didn't find the tree and try to damage it in some way.

Her name...Maria Georgina: she was a huge Catholic person and she passed way: december 5, 1995; but I had enough time, with her and the ill, to show her a new song by U2, which she was considering the best of U2, this song is Miss Sarajevo. I explained her the lyrics...and she said me, that could have any relation with the Virgyn of Medjugorje....rest in peace my mum...and it's you when I look in the mirror!
